Like many of us Mums, Amanda has very few photos with her children. We have many reasons for not being in the photos with our children, or indeed on our own…..we don’t particularly like having our photo taken, we’re not thin enough, we’ve got a pimple, we don’t have time to do our hair/make-up…..sound at all familiar???
For Amanda though, it’s mainly that she is a rather talented photographer herself and she is usually the one behind the camera. And just like me her husband doesn’t really think to pick up a camera…or even a mobile phone to capture her with the children.
So when I was visiting the area (incidentally to have my own photos taken….more about that soon), I made sure that we arranged to get together for a little photoshoot in the forest.
Amanda is such a beautiful lady inside and out, and Belle and Oliver are delightful children…not a hint of “photographer’s child syndrome” It was my absolute pleasure to capture them together. xx
