Sophia Rose’s Newborn Portrait Session

I’ve known Sophia’s Mummy and Grandma for a few years now, in fact her Mummy used to help me when I first started out as a professional family photographer around 6 years ago!  I was so happy to hear the news that Megan and Scott were expecting a wee bundle and was so pleased when they chose me for her newborn photos.

I was so excited to meet her for snuggles and capture such important memories of one of the most special times in their lives.

As a wee "nod" to her beautiful name, I saw the perfect opportunity for me  to use this pretty rose patterned wrap and blanket set.

I may have also sneaked in a wee rose patterned scarf 😉

As you've probably guessed already, we went all out with the pink.  <3

Our bunny bonnets are always a huge favourite with new parents....I mean who can resist a newborn baby in a cute animal bonnet?  I know I can't!

One of my favourite parts of a newborn baby photoshoot is photos with Mum and Dad.  It really shows just how tiny your precious new baby is especially when you see how they fit so snug in your hands.....they will never be this small again!

Sophia was a true professional throughout her first photoshoot and I can't wait to see her again for more snuggles (oh and some more photos for Mum and Dad of course) at her Baby Milestone Sessions.
