This week saw the launch of the “Portraits of Togetherness” campaign, the opportunity to give the gift of beautiful photographs to our amazing NHS and keyworkers.
Laura is not only a fantastic Mum to her 3 beautiful children, she’s also a student nurse who is currently working with Covid-19 patients. Raising a family, running a home, working in the hospital and studying…. Wow….if that isn’t the definition of a superhero, I don’t know what is!!
I first met Laura and the children when I photographed the girls at their dance show in Helensburgh, it’s so lovely seeing the children grow up and capturing these memories, not just for now, but for the children when they grow up. Laura really gets the importance of existing in those photos for the children, aswell as the importance of displaying those memories for them to look at every day. From visiting Laura’s home it’s clear how much she values these memories, her walls are adorned with frames upon frames of family moments.
Thank you Laura for always trusting me to capture your lovely family. I’m looking forward to seeing these photos up on the wall.
