It was lovely to welcome the lovely Lindsey to the studio for her first professional headshots.
Lindsey is a very talented (and lovely with it) young lady and the principle of Dancebase Academy in Dumbarton where she teaches 160 students in all aspects of dance, from ballet to hip hop and just about everything in between!
As well as judging at dance competitions all over Scotland and the UK, Lindsey has also recently launched her own local dance competition, Scotland’s IN10CITY DANCE CHALLENGE for which me and my team provide the event photography. When Lindsey found herself in need of professional headshots for use in programmes for the various competitions I was thrilled that she approached me and couldn’t wait to get her in the studio.
I was really surprised to learn that Lindsey has never had a professional portrait taken….in fact she’s actually a little shy and was quite nervous to be in front of the camera, not that you can tell from her photos.
It didn’t take too long though for her to relax, and once we’d done a couple of varieties of head shots we captured a few more casual portraits of her.
If you’re in Dumbarton and looking for a dance school for your child, why not get in touch with Lindsey through the Dancebase Academy Facebook Page
I’m really looking forward to working more with Lindsey and Dancebase Academy in the future.
