Forget waiting in a busy queue with overexcited (or even worse, whingy) children, only to be rushed in and out like shopping on a conveyor belt.
Our Smile with Santa Photo Experience is the perfect opportunity for your children to come along and meet the “Man in Red”, enjoy a proper conversation, read a book, blow some bubbles……and Mum and Dad get some beautiful photos, ideal for personalised Christmas cards and the perfect gift for Grandparents, Aunties, Uncles, Godparents….(you get the picture 😉 )
Our Exclusive SANTA EXPERIENCE means your family get to spend a magical 10 minutes with the man himself, giving your wee ones plenty of time to chat to Santa and show him their Christmas list.
Each child will receive a little piece of Christmas Magic to take home with them ready for Christmas Eve.
And as an added extra you can purchase one of our super special “Nice List Certificates” for Santa to give to your child. A great incentive for them to keep up that stellar behaviour!
As you know Santa is a very busy man with lots of boys and girls he needs to see, so these sessions are extremely limited.
Tickets are just £45 per FAMILY (immediate family only, for cousins etc please book 2 consecutive sessions.)

What date is Santa coming?
Santa will be coming to the Life in Focus Portrait Studio on Sunday 5th November.
Why November???
After your session I need time to edit your beautiful photos, upload them to your private gallery and allow you time to choose your photos and place your order. If you order printed products we need to get these printed for you, whilst digital images will be available for immediate download, enabling you to order all manner of wonderful personalised gifts from your choice of retailer.
Photos make the perfect gift for the family, we want to ensure that you have everything in plenty of time, ready to be wrapped and placed under the tree.
How long do we get to spend with Santa?
Your time with Santa lasts 10 minutes, about 5 times longer than you’ll have with Father Christmas at a grotto, and a much more magical and private experience. Giving your wee ones plenty of time to chat to Santa whilst I capture some beautiful portraits.
How much does it cost?
The ticket price is £45
Is the cost per child?
The short answer is NO, the price is per family (siblings only though please)
Can I bring somebody else?
The session is valid for one family only. If you wish to bring cousins/friends or anybody else, please book a session per family. If you book consecutive sessions I am happy to capture a couple of images of everybody together. Please be sure to let me know your plans at the time of booking.
What does our Smile with Santa Experience include?
- 10 minutes with Santa all to yourselves, plenty of time to share a story, blow some bubbles and share in Santa’s Christmas magic!
- A small gift from the North Pole.
- Your favourite photo as a high resolution digital file for you to print and share as many times as you wish.
- The option to buy additional beautiful photos, perfect for Christmas cards and gifts.
After your session you’ll receive login details to your online gallery where you choose your FREE digital image and the option t0 purchase a range of products.
Can I change my appointment time/date?
All bookings are final, Santa Claus is a very busy man and we are expecting these sessions to sell out.
My child has additional needs, we’ve never had photos before because I’m worried they will play up, can I book?
OF COURSE!! You and your child deserve to enjoy a lovely experience just as much as anyone else. I have many families who have a child with additional needs who return year on year.
As a qualified nursery nurse I have extensive experience of working with children of varying needs (so has Santa!) I use Makaton signs and symbols and have endless patience.
If you have any concerns, please don’t hesitate to pop me a message. I always do my best to make adjustments to support your child, for example, we can arrange your session just before lunch or the last session of the day so you don’t feel under pressure if your child needs a little extra time.
Can we have a family photo?
YES, I always encourage parents (and Grandparents) to jump in for at least one photo together. As a Mum myself I know that we are rarely in photos with our littles (its usually us behind the camera!) and it is so important to exist in photos with our children.
Do you choose which photo I get for free?
No, you choose yourself. After your session you will be sent your personal link to a password protected online gallery where you will have a selection of beautiful photos to choose from.
If I like my photos, can I buy extras?
Of course you can. You can buy digital files, mounted prints and Christmas cards from your online gallery, all from the comfort of your own home.
Can I take my own photos?
No, personal photography and videography is not permitted in the studio.

Yes! We also have a little extra available. Delight your little ones with a special personalised “Good List Certificate”, presented to them by the man himself, Santa Claus! Just add it on when you make your booking.
