Wedding Photography in Paris – The City of Love
Last week I spent the week in Paris attending a training course for professional wedding photographers. It was a full on few days with lots of walking…early starts to catch the sunrise and late finishes to capture those beautiful night time shots that all of my wedding couples love.
I was there along with 5 other professional wedding photographers from all over the UK and Europe, all of us sharing one thing in common…a drive to be the best we can be so that we can provide our couples with outstanding photographs to remember their wedding day.
Our models for the week were a lovely young couple who are due to tie the knot in September, Cameron and Heather are clearly very much in love and we had such good fun with them. While Cameron is a professional model, this was the first time Heather had done any modelling…not that you would have known as she was such a natural in front of the camera.
It was my first visit to Paris and even though we didn't have time to properly explore, I have to say I loved it and I'll definitely be visiting again soon! Such a beautiful place, with so many fabulous locations for a photoshoot, of course we made good use of the stunning backdrops including the Eiffel Tower, Musee du Louvre as well as various other beautiful spots around the city.
We spent an afternoon doing a pre wedding couples shoot for Cameron and Heather which was just perfect with a stroll around some of the landmarks, stopping for lunch and a glass of wine along the way.
I have to say I was more than a little thrilled when Heather chose one of my photos for the front cover of her wedding signing book!
If you're looking for somewhere special to get away before the hustle and bustle of your own wedding, I'd definitely recommend Paris, you might even want to have your pre wedding couples shoot while you're there....if you do, then give me a shout I'd be only too happy to meet you there!
